The Jessieville Lions showcased their athletic prowess this week at the Senior Lions Relays, earning a hard-fought second-place finish overall. Competing on their home turf at Don Phillips Field, the Lions went up against a tough field of eleven regional teams, including several from the surrounding Garland County area.

Standing out for the Lions were record-setting performances in several key events. Tristan Rogers and Karley Saveall both delivered career-best times in their respective sprints, while Emanuel Pricop dominated the jumping events. The team’s relay squads also showed great coordination, securing crucial points in the final stages of the meet.

Coach staff praised the team’s dedication and spirit. “Our athletes have been training incredibly hard, and seeing it pay off at home is special,” the head coach remarked. The Lions’ strong showing sets a positive tone for the remainder of the track season as they look toward regional and state competitions.
